history
We didn’t just want to build houses,
we wanted to create a refuge.
We are a couple in love with the Algarve who decided to turn a dream into reality. In a peaceful corner of the picturesque village of Santa Luzia, guided by good taste and the desire to create something unique, we imagined every line, chose every colour and shaped every detail with our own hands.
Most human lives are shaped by rituals and routines.
We believe life is made of simple rituals and routines that make us feel good. That is why we wanted to create a place where time slows down and days are lived more calmly.
We were inspired by the Mediterranean, by warm tones, natural materials and the symbolism of the olive tree — a symbol of hope, renewal and serenity. Every choice was made with intention and crafted by our own hands.
It all began with our family holiday home, next to the Ria Formosa, in Santa Luzia. In 2015, we made it our home. In 2018, the guesthouse was born. In 2020, the courtyard that now connects everything took shape.
Today, 3 Casas na Ria is more than a project.
It is a lived-in place, where days unfold slowly, conversations linger and memories are made.
